I remeber that, it's just that it was right before secret war and everyone was dying anyway. I'm sure Hickman has heart break in store for us, but I don't think it will be Scott and Logan murdering each other while the world ended. I could be wrong though

It lost some of the magic from the middle to the end despite a great start. The biggest problem was too similar stories and some weak villains but overall managed to develop well the relationship of Gabby and Laura.

I think it was a matter of him going for everything coming full circle in which Avengers both began and ended with these 2 who represented the light (Steve via the Avengers) and the shadows (Tony via the Illuminati). That of course wasn’t the end of the story as Secret Wars was the full resolution of the story he started in that run.
