First up, the Originals back in their codenames. Bruce as Hulk, Tony as Iron Man, etc, etc. Apart from them:

Doesn't need the same original characters, necessarily, though maintain the concept of reforming / reformed villains.

Off the top of my head, I'd use Mach X as the reluctant leader, Grizzly fresh off his time with Ant-Man, Diamondback, Paladin, Black Talon and Paste-Pot-Pete as the home fires character.

Exlies Mimic and Morph in the 616.

Have Mimic lead his own X-Men or Avengers team. ( that would hopefully lead to a solo)

Have Morph join the Avengers and progress to being a core character to the franchise.

616 Mary Jane Watson I know she appears in bendis's invincible iron man from time to time but just barely... her character goes literally months without appearing in anything.

Wow, I'd love to see a bunch of these.

Invaders (WW2 set)? Check! (There's so much left unexplored from that era in 616. The Nazi had occultists, did they try to tap the power of the slumbering Chthon in Mt. Wundagore? In their attempts to exploit teutonic lore, did they invoke Loki, and did that bite them in the ass? Did the north African campaigns run afoul of Set-worshipping serpentfolk? Where there French resistance heroes? Were there Jewish or Romani or Italian or Polish heroes? Of the possible Romani resistance, were Werner and Cynthia von Doom involved? Did Doom's mother lose her soul attempting to stop the Nazi's from freeing Chthon? Did K'un-Lun or the Ancient One get involved in the invasion of China by Imperial Japan? Did Wakanda send secret agents provocateur (perhaps even Dora Milaje assassins, perhaps even T'challa's mom, or grandmother?) to prevent the Nazis from descending any deeper into Africa? Did any Inhumans get involved, perhaps, initially, being fans of eugenics, on the wrong side? What would Nazis have thought of Moloids, literal 'subhumans' and how would they have exploited a system of tunnels that might allow them to secretly move troops past borders throughout Europe?)

Thunderbolts? Yes!
Avengers Academy? Heck yeah!
Braddock Academy (mentioned in Avengers Arena, but never really shown, AFAIK)? Yes!
Exiles? Sure!

Also, New Warriors! New X-Men! Young Avengers! The Initiative!
