Maybe... but mass rioting and social collapse will arise when the book is announced so people would probably make up their minds before the title is released.

Thanks to the editorial decisions, there aren't enough relevant Titans who aren't screwed or possibly getting screwed in the future to make a book anyways. The only ones who aren't screwed right now are Starfire, Raven and Terra. Knowing the editorial's distaste for the franchise and its characters,Beast Boy and Ms.Martian(or at least one of them) are going to be joining Donna as pawns of the Batman Who Laughs in the upcoming months. Upcoming solicits imply that Jericho and Rose are having heel turns as well. Everyone else is either dead, irrelevant or derailed.
I may be in the minority here and suggest that King CAN lighten the tone of his books. But that will probably be an even worse fate because his sense of humor is terrible. The lighthearted elements of Mister Miracle were far and away the worst element of that book.

I never noticed any humor in King's books and all the light hearted stuff in Mr. Miracle gets really depressing and creepy when you realize that Scott's given up on reality to live a fake life inside the Omega Sanction.

Tom King can be hilarious. I don't think I've genuinely laughed out loud as much at many other writers, even those who often try so hard for comedy like Humphries.

His jokes are usually dreadful, but his comedic timing and irony is on point.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

What about Constantine? He’s dark, has some issues, and all of Tom Kings inconsistencies can be explained away due to magic. Since he only seems to have the one type of story, he should stick to characters that works with. Keep away from light, fun, or really any superhero.

King has said Constantine is best left to a Brit.

Would be great to see. Assuming Harras allows King to write one of their premier characters again.

They never said how long the exclusivity deal was, but it was signed over three years ago.

Maybe something completely out of comics?? First, I recommend a few years of intense therapy.

Would that be safe for the therapist?

Wildstorm on Earth 0 has pretty much disappeared and I doubt DC would risk ticking off Ellis by using his toys without his permission.

Whenever I hear Tom King and "humor" mentioned in the same sentence, I just can't help but think of the time during his "War of Jokes and Riddles" arc on Batman when he a made a cab driver driving the Joker crack a jest about "Dick Sprang" and "69". How did that ever get approved? Did one of his kids blackmail Tom King into inserting that joke in there, because that seems to be the only scenario in which this would ever been seen as permissible!

    Oh... and here's a list:

    Martian Manhunter
Legion of Superheroes (only 5 years later continuity)
    Deathstroke
    The Authority
    Unknown Soldier
    Red Hood
    Green Arrow
    Swamp Thing
    Kid Eternity

Don't give him any of the big six. That being Aquaman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Superman, Wonder Woman.

Constantine needs to be written by a Brit? Maybe Batman should be written by a billionaire. That’s a weak ass excuse. That being said, it’s best that he doesn’t write a character that even he knows he doesn’t get. He should probably just avoid anyone in DC though. Maybe Image where he can make up his own sad and depressed characters.
