That was fantastic. Top Knots and Pale Horse and bodies everywhere... very impressive.

I was amused that this universe saw Spielberg make a film on the Event instead of the Holocaust, and the terminology is a pointed reference to 9/11.

Looking Glass eating beans from the can was great. More Newstand comics readers was nice, Smiley O's were amusing, Veidt being on a wall of screens rather than watching them... this really is the vest kind of sequel-remix. (It does RIGHT everything that The Force Awakens did wrong...)

That Hooded Justice porn had us HOWLING laughing at home.

We are such nerds for the Minutemen and all that. When they showed Hooded Justice before in the series we cheered.

This time I fell out laughing. Looking Glass is a wild dude.

His Video to President Redford reminded of the "American" voice he did in Die Hard 3 when he arrived with the dump trucks on Wall Street.

This may be the best comic book television show of all time, imo. This show leaves all the others in the dust.

I'm hoping the best for Looking Glass, but it doesn't look good. Perhaps his choice to not throw out his new security thing will prove fortuitous -- since it's a big metal box. Maybe it saves him long enough for him to get to his bunker.... I hope so anyway. I'm not ready for him to be gone. The actor's also awesome.

That was, intense, wow. Episode 6 got a season 2 episode of Netflix Daredevil dropped right in the middle of it.

Some things did get answered. Only 3 left this thing is really gonna move. Gives me time to start it over from the jump one good time. Excellent episode.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?

I seriously adore this show. Episode 6 has to be the best directing I've seen in a comic book TV series. Absolutely stunning cinematography. Weirdly enough, I just watched Fences yesterday and Jovan Adepo was in that film too. Dude is a seriously killer actor. Hooded Justice's origin story was fantastic and painful to watch unfold.

Can't wait for the next episode.

So was the Hooded Justice that prevented the Comedian from assaulting Laurie's mom William or was the mantle passed?

Also I find it cool that they chose Hooded Justice as one of the focal points in this series. I was always curious about him, as I thought his costume was an odd choice (why the clan-like outfit and noose?) Now I know.

Wow. Last night's episode was AMAZING! This is the first thing I've seen done with a 'Watchmen' character that was actually better than what was done in the OGN.

Eureka. I'm looking at dude's face when he's putting on the eye mask and I was like, damn it I've seen him before. I love Fences, it's like watching Denzel eat a Thanksgiving dinner right in front of you he devours everything every corner of the screen. Adepo didn't have many lines as the son but he was good like everyone else in it. He emotes very well. I love how he ran out of bullets and then strangled the guy with the cord. Then the shop owner with the shotgun, wtf, that was wild.

The timing of Lou Gosset Jr's effort to connect with his granddaughter now there is a new Ozmandius is the biggest hook of it all for me. I too have the same questions about HJ having shown up in one form or another since the first episode. Where those all just misdirects? Specifically the first scene in the market stopping the robbery.

Veidt and this 'trial' by the Game Warden looks nuts.

Reeves origin had some echoes to the late Walter Kovacs to me. Seriously amazing episode.

This is easily the best episode of the show for me. I was confused as to why his wife left. As far as we saw, being hooded justice didn't put a strain on his family life. The kid even seemed to idolize his dad.

Yes. Remember the era. Hooded Justice couldn't be "outed" as a black man, so the show made him white which is what everyone already thought he was anyway.

Remember she didn't want him to join the minute men and also remember when she was in bed with him and was asking him what was wrong and asked him to remember the first time he saw her. He was drifting father and farther away from her...
