Would this place action and 'tec at same numbering?
"You can't be everywhere, you can't do it all"
"I'm not Batman, I have friends."
"But listen, call yourself Bat-Chick, Knightbat, or Black Robin- the point is, don't forget- you have a family."
"You don't need me. This is a job for.........Alfred!" -Tim Drake
"Dear Diary, I know what my next science project is going to be called: "My love/hate relationship with Gravity........And it was only then that young Stephanie truly realized gravity would forever be her enemy. "-Stephanie Brown
Thank goodness. Easier on folks pockets. Mind you, it was nice to have more frequent trades on those titles. Guess no 13_4t save on them as well. Must had been creatively hard to sustain. I'm hoping this will now see the end of artist switcheroo on those titles affected.

Hopefully, the freed slots will allow for new series with lesser know characters or imprints.
Morning Korath, just saying 'hello.'
That's a pity, I liked only having to wait half as long for storyarcs to complete.
I'm curious to see how this effects sales numbers, if at all.
The Flash currently sells about 70K a month shipping fortnightly.
There's no way it will sell that once a month.
My wallet says thank you though!!
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
That doesn't really matter because DC still has to pay for the production of two Flash books for one month. It's not like they pay for the production of one comic book and get two.
The current double shipping formula does allow for them to complete stories quicker, though I feel the overall quality and consistency of the artwork in the comics is hurt because of it.
Currently Reading:
DC: The Flash, Challenge of the Super Sons, Nightwing
Image: Lazarus: Risen, The Old Guard, Black Magick
Boom: Mighty Morphin', Power Rangers
Well, in Flash's case there's an obvious replacement for that second issue each month: Wally West.

It doesn't matter because The Flash's sales for each Flash comic are going to be what they will be regardless of when you ship them. And the cost of production for those comics will be what it will be regardless of when you ship those comics.
What you're talking about is a different point. My point doesn't have to do with other DC titles. It has only to do with The Flash.

Hopefully those double issues will be translated to new titles batman and catwoman is testament to that.
That's too bad. I really enjoyed getting Flash twice a month, it really helped with pacing. I was hoping they'd keep it like that for the duration of Williamson's run.
So
2x Batman -> Batman & Batman/Catwoman
2x Flash -> Flash & Wally West comic (?)
2x Justice League -> Justice League & ? (maybe JSA?)
2x Detective Comics -> Detective Comics & ? (maybe a new Batwoman title, or a Robin comic starring the four main Robins, or a title about the whole batfamily)
2x Wonder Woman -> Wonder Woman & ?
