    One idea I had for a game was an RPG where as a fictional fan, you explore different chapters of famous DC stories like a kind of story-hopper, exploring different worlds/events and gaining different powers depending on the context.

    I was thinking and what pooped into my head was an odd choice. Kamandi. A lone human boy leaves his bunker to discover a ruined world with groups of mutated intelligent animals as the new rulers of the planet. You go with a big open world RPG where allying with one group of animals makes your the enemy of another. There are a lot of directions you could go here with a goo writing team.

    Well I got my Batfam game, it even has a day and night cycle with out of costume moment
    Now to be able to explore Wayne Manor and Batcave with all of them including Bruce

    With all of the Justice League focused games we typically get, it would be nice to get JSA one.

    Not to mention the Aquaman movie could easily be turned into an Action RPG.

    The only problem are the water mechanics.

    I'd watch the move, streaming TV series, cartoon, and would play the game.
    Somehow DC can't seem to make this franchise work.
    Planet of the Apes managed to reinvent itself.
    No reason this analogues Kirby creation can't.

    Honestly they just need to give him full pants, legit boots, and re-title and re-brand primarily as:
    "-LAST BOY ON EARTH-"
    People are hesitant, need to know what they are getting into, this is the last kid in the DCU? HowTF did that happen? "Kamandi" is meaningless unless you know the story, it doesn't sell it.
    Then go all in with the over-the-top Kirby-Verse, mutant talking animals future.

    DC Ultimate Alliance. To me that's the way to go. Start off with five characters each from the major team factions, and then have DLC heroes from there.

    the big bads can be people like Mongul, Darkseid, Brainiac.

    In a pulpy, noir, WWII setting, with some diesel/deco-punk aesthetic would be fantastic!

    Imagine a mystic Green Lantern
    Golden Age Flash
    Fedora and mask Sandman
    etc...

    This is so far off the radar of the current regime running DC, it's tragic.

    - a space exploration (planets, alien races and their culture) with Captain Comet, Adam Strange, Rip Hunter, Omega men, Lobo as main characters. In the Mass Effect engine.

    - a Booster Gold/ Rip Hunter time travelling game where they fix anomalies in past events of the DC Multiverse

    - a DC vampire game that when you bite a hero or a villain they became an ally fighting for your team (what?)

    Could be Parademons with anti-life bite , makes you all allies of Darkseid.

    I would do a slowly expanding universe game, that ends up being a fighting game for replay value. However, the gimmick is you pick one character to start as and you have to unlock everybody else. Meaning there would be multiple story modes.

    Wonder Woman: The Endless War

    Story

    Maxwell Lord has released the 4 Horsewomen of Ares onto the world. If they spend enough time liberated, Ares will be freed from his Themysciran prison and ignite the world into an endless war that Lord will become insanely wealthy from as the biggest weapons developer and manufacturer in the world. Only Wonder Woman can prevent Armageddon, Devastation, Genocide, and Decay from being the first 4 steps in world annihilation.

    Gameplay


    The gameplay will be similar to God of War. Instead of a shield, Wonder Woman can use her bracers to shield from attacks, deflect attacks, absorb attacks, and then redirect it as a directed concussion blast and eventually as an expansive concussion blast within a certain area.

    Instead of the chains, she can use her Golden Lasso as a weapon. It can be upgraded to extend its reach, its damage, and is required for some platforming sections. I would like to somehow incorporate its truth abilities into combat, but I'm not sure how without it being cheesy. However, it can obviously be an important part of her information collecting skillset.

    Wisdom of Athena - Similar to the Spidey Sense in Spider-Man, it alerts Diana to oncoming threats or targets that are offscreen.

    Super-Jump Smash - Diana can super jump and land on the ground incapacitating enemies within a certain radius. / After thinking about it, I like the idea of a Hermes Dash instead. She uses this super-speed dash to as an attack for enemies. She is temporarily invulnerable as she does this. This move can be upgraded to go further, quicker, and turn Wonder Woman into a human missile.

    Similar to Tomb Raider, Diana can speak multiple languages. This is needed for information gathering and finding special collectibles for the Smithsonian Museum

    There are Diana Prince sections. This includes the Smithsonian where she works with Dr. Barbara Ann and Etta Candy. Maybe in this game, Steve can be a respected private investigator. In the Diana Prince sections, information gathering is more important. She is mostly trying to discover more about the 4 Horsewomen, how to stop them prevent Ares, and connect Maxwell Lord to this dastardly scheme, so he can be imprisoned for war crimes. (This section can also be for world-building like she must talk to Dr. Poison because Decay releases a toxin that kills livestock and vegetation. She must meet with Veronica Cale or Julia for information regarding their former business partner Maxwell Lord, or maybe she must go to a concert of the Holliday Girls because the survivor of a Devastation attack is there,etc. This section should have a lot of treats for long term fans.

    Diana can heal thru the use of Purple Ray Crystals that she collects.

    Once she visits a location, she can return at any time thru the use of her Invisible Jet.

    Locations

    I see Wonder Woman as the world's hero. As a result, each Horsewoman is located in a different location either real-world or imagined. Each location will be free-roaming and offer chances for both action and a chance to speak to the people of that particular location. It will also offer chances for exploration including collectibles Diana can bring to the Smithsonian.

    Wonder Woman would obviously be based in D.C. However D.C. can be limited to the National Mall and maybe some form of transportation - magical or real - to Diana's home - may be in Georgetown.

    Boss Battles

    An introductory boss battle with Giganta before the story truly gets moving.

    There can also be side boss battles with Major Disaster and Mayfly - an assassin hired by Maxwell Lord.

    The major boss battles will be with the 4 Horsewomen and Ares as the final boss.

    There will be an end teaser with Circe commenting that everything went according to her plan.

    Genre
    The main game will be mostly a 1st person narratively driven third-person action-adventure with skillset abilities that can be equipped and upgraded.

    There will be an Amazing Amazons multiplayer section. Here up to 4 (maybe 5) players can choose between Wonder Woman, Nubia, Artemis, Grace Choi, and Yara. These will be small sections where you are given an objective you must complete. Some of these objectives can have boss fights at the end.

    The platinum trophy can be titled: Agent of Peace or Sensational Amazon

    Pretty much launch her into battle.... collecting weapons, artifacts, clues. Ares unleashes armies through time. Until finally reaching and taking him out.
    1996 - Tomb Raider - still going strong, ever expanding and evolving.
    2020 - Over two decades since, DC developers - we still have no idea, what character we have or how we could ever develop something like this?

    Green Lantern feels like it is just asking to be a “test of will” button mashing game.
