Default Thanos (MCU) vs. Pro Heroes (MHA)

Since MCU Thanos is getting so much attention it only makes sense to me to pit him against the pro heroes from My Hero Academia, so no students here.

Thanos does not have the gauntlet or infinity stones. He has his armor and cool yet ridiculous double sword. He is alone, because there aren't quite enough pro heroes to take on his army.

There are three fights that take place in the giant crater from Endgame.

    1. Thanos vs. Pro Hero team (Kamui Woods, Mt. Lady, Endeavor, Gran Torino, Fatgum, Ryukyu and Hawks)

    2. Thanos vs. All Might(All Might's powers won't crap out on him)

    3. Thanos vs. All Might (same as above), Kamui Woods, Mt. Lady, Endeavor, Gran Torino, Fatgum, Ryukyu and Hawks

Bonus fight: Same as 3, except Thanos has the Black Order backing him up.

This goes to show the massive gap between All Might and the rest of the pro hero world.

The pro hero team certainly can give Thanos some trouble. Granted Torino is too fast and nimble for Thanos to catch easily. Ryukyu, Endeavor and Mount Lady have the raw oomph to make Thanos feel their attacks. Not sure how Fat Gum does with blades, because if he can't absorb its kinetic energy he's getting sliced. Hawks is very very good at battlefield awareness and can keep people from taking blows that would otherwise end them which is good because most of the pro heroes are considerably below the likes of Hulk and Iron Man in durability.

It's iffy, but I think the heroes might be able to edge Thanos out if they fight smart, which the pro heroes are generally very good at doing.

All Might doesn't have to fight smart. He easily outclasses Thanos by several orders of magnitude in speed and strength. He changes the weather, creates tornadoes and shatters miles of skyscraper windows with his punches. Even when just duking it out rather than using one of his trademark techniques, he whips up winds so strong that hero students are blown off their feet and can't get near him. Speedwise, we see All Might rescue a bunch of students who are all simultaneously inches from death before the villains can react, and slap one of the villains' creepy hands off. He is at the very least far beyond what the average human can react to, and the villain comments to himself that this blitz shows All Might has gotten slower.

I'm not so sure about Strength. Thanos was able to shred Cap's shield with pure strength

Thanos was also even or at a disadvantage in strength against Captain Marvel. I think Cap's shield shattering says more about the upper limits of vibranium in the MCU than it does Thanos breaking something that's usually one step removed from adamantium.

And then there's his United States of Smash punch against All For One that created a whirlwind powerful enough to tear apart the buildings around him and lift massive chunks into the air. Which was done with the last fumes of One For All, as in "he could only beef up a single arm and had one good punch left in him".

Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

That was the "creates tornadoes" bit, yes. ^_^

It's such a bittersweet epic tragedy that the All Might we see in the show, for all his awe-inspiring glory, is but a shell of his former self desperately fighting an unwinnable battle against time. The United States of Smash was the money shot, but for me what hit the hardest was the image of All Might using his body to shield the dying flames of his power from the ravages of an endless blizzard, and his final farewell to the power that let him be the greatest hero of all time, and his passing of the torch to Deku.
