    Default Identity Crisis

In heroes in crisis 9 the Robin's finally appear and apparently don't have a single clue about their personas even though they were trained by the world's greatest detective.

p.s. I get it they are rhetorical questions and Tom King probably thought the panels were amusing but I still can't resist poking fun at the trope of the Robin's being unsure of themselves even after all these years.

    Ridiculous.
Dick and Tim both are plenty self aware.

I'd say the real punchline came from Steph…

    And what is about Cassandra?

I think this happens because it might be before YJ also, so I could understand Tims insecurity..

I wish Cass had simply held up a sign with the word "STOP".

At least he got it right that Tim's the smart one. I liked Cass' panel.

Really? Just saw that she also has 9 panels, where she talked really much, not as much as Donna did, but quite a lot for her circumstances..

This is just meta crap just like most of the testimonials. What a waste, we could actually see some inner turmoil of the main cast instead of these cute meta jokes that in the story makes a lot of these characters look bad.

There's nothing wrong with self-doubt but it comes up over and over and nothing is actually done with it, it gets real old.

Seriously though, the reductive TMNTization of Robins is nothing short of problematic.

Is he though? They are all smart. Damian is smarter than Tim considering his age and that's Pre flashpoint Tim I'm talking about.

Current Tim isn't really smart he's more of the tech guy.

Tim has a cold calculated mind and he is the only one to work with a fascist. Like Dick said in RR Tim can be detach his emotions in a manner that the others can that can lead to him doing things that others would never be able to. He isn't above using under hand methods to get a win [well at least old Tim ]

They all have a darkness in them.
