Default MCU Iron Man vs DCEU Superman

Tony was able to hurt Thanos so if speed is equalized can he do the same to Superman?

He's still way to much for IM to handle.

Nope. HV, far superior strength and durability are still on Superman's side.

Iron Man's Sheild blocked a sustained Power Stone blast and his Cuffs held Thanos down for some seconds.

Speed equalized Iron Man could keep his distance with his Sheild up and literally unload every weapon he has from his suit on Clark. Then when he runs out he could move in for physical blows and have his versatile suit that can detach and surround them constantly fire on Supermans blind spot behind him while Tony attacks from the front.

He may still lose but speed equalized Iron Man puts Clark through the ringer until he runs out of juice. Then if Super is still alive after all that then he says a funny one liner and is ko'd.

Eh, his ranged stuff never really hurt Cull or Thanos. Even Hulkbuster's ranged game didn't hurt Hulk. That stuff is probably a minor nuisance at best.

Allso people far below Superman survived hits from the power stone so it's not really that big of a deal.

Thanos had to resort to the Space Stone to Absorb most of IM's attacks and even War Machines missle blasts in Infinity War.

If Thanos had no Stones and no way to block the attacks Iron Man has weapons capable of hurting him after continuous use. He doesn't have any 1 shot weapons, but he had a multitude of versatile weapons and counters enough to damage him.

And since he could play keep away in a speed equalized scenario here by keeping his Sheild up and attacking at the same time with a host of attacks he really could unload every weapon he has. It might not be enough but I don't see Superman walking out of this unscathed.

There are many examples in that fight where Thanos just straight up took shots without creating shields. Cull as well. And Hulk.

Heck, he just flat out ignored Star Lord unloading as well.

    Who?

The only people who got "hit" (not hold on to it, actually got hit by an attack/blast) by the powerstone were Ronan, the Nova Corps, Iron Man and Captain Marvel. Ronan and the Nova Corps died. Captain Marvel is... Captain Marvel.

Which is not to say Iron Man is tanking the power stone, it was clearly destroying the shield and only lasted a few seconds anyway.

Also, there is no keep away from a similarly flying opponent with very potent heat vision.

Supes also regenerates, so by that metric, he really could come out unscathed.

Supes for the win. Might give Kal a scratch and then is punched silly. Tony doesn't put out nuke level energy in the movie. Kal survives that.

I don’t think he could scratch Superman

If Superman held both his fist to his side and span in a circle, it would be the perfect defense.
