Man, I love Megas XLR. And I love Sym-Bionic Titan maybe even more so.
But, the Galalunians have no chance here. Megas is far out of Titan's league. He is likely bigger, definitely stronger, has more weapons, and has actual hax and joke abilities.
Megas is basically a toon forcing mech. There are literally buttons that change what they do depending on the plot, and they will acknowledge it.

Bunn for Deadpool's Main Book!
Megas is the robot version of Bugs Bunny.
It'll be a fun match to watch but it only lasts as long as Megas lets it.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
The only reason there's any tension or real plot that's not 'M.E.G.A.S. curbstomps enemies instantly' on M.E.G.A.S. XLR is because Coop's an idiot. Because, as others have already said, M.E.G.A.S. is basically a plot device that has buttons for pretty much anything it could possibly need to do.
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

MEGAS......even with Coop not being the smartest pilot, the MEGAS has the kind of weapons that could make Sentinels think twice
This thread only reminds me that we live in a cruel universe where both shows were cancelled before their time.
