I've got sort or an issue with the definition of 'heroism' and 'morality'. I'm not sure they're equatable.

You're right most of X-men acts heroically except in extinction events. And many of them have been working with villains one time or another in the name of a greater good.

Gotta admit, pessimistic as I am, I sure like seeing you give Jean that score.

Whatever the score in absolute terms, Scott has three points more than Logan and two less than Storm.

Yeah, if depended on Ororo alone, mutantkind would have died twice- first she abandoned the ship shortly after M-Day, then her absolutely terrible handling of the Terrigen situation, in which she just let BB and Medusa do what they wanted.

She handled those terribly. But I don't understand what those have to do with her morality.

Scott (and not only him, mind) , written in character, would have destroyed those damn clouds and **** the Inhumans and the world and what they think of him. If you care too much about your morality to do the right thing for your survival and the ones you love, you're not that moral. Is essentially Captain America's arc in Time Runs Out without the pettiness toward Tony: he cared too much about "doing the right thing" and bring the Illuminati to justice rather than actually do anything about the world dying.
