teach is a bit of a tank. he takes some hard hits from luffy, ace, and whitebeard and still keeps come trucking.

he definitely could take ben's blows. not sure if he can dish it out as well. the only real gage we have for his striking is him wrecking ace in a couple of hits, with him commenting that teach was hitting hard enough to nearly break his neck.

however, it's his DF powers that are gonna mess with ben's day. either he gets sucked up in his black hole or eat some earthquakes to the face.

Blackbeard is specifically an HP-tank. He feels more pain and takes more damage than your average guy, but so far that hasn't stopped him from getting up from some srious blows (although it should be noted that it was Pre-Timeskip Luffy that fought him, so he was nowhere near as strong as he is now).

He does have one ability that could be an ace up his sleeve for this fight. He can create a vortex in the ground that can suck Thing into it and keep him there for a ten count before spitting him out.

should be noted that because of the nature of the yami yami fruit, attacks do hit harder than normal. so yeah, he's pretty damn tough to soak those kinds of hits and keep gonna coming.

Sucking Ben into a pocket dimension or whatever would work, but earthquake directly applied to the brain, the type that causes tsunamis and turns big-ass buildings to rubble would probably also do fine here.

Blackboard technically doesn't have any feats on WB level with the quake fruit or post skip, although obviously he should be way way stronger now.
I can't remember how fast his black holes can suck someone in, although I would wager Ben could try jumping, if he can react in time.

For what its worth, Blackbeard's the guy that gave Shanks the scars over his eye, while Shanks was very explicitly NOT holding back or underestimating him, IIRC. The specifics of how that happened, however, are completely unexplored.
