Default Create your own MILESTONE hero.

    Howabout :

Change - (apparently) A shapeshifting young African-American male "bang-baby". Can change his appearance for disguise and adjust his body when he needs to be strong or fast in fights. A surprise ending reveals him to be a hip-hop loving white teen! Based on Edward Furlong in Terminator 2...

N.L (Non Lethal) - former African-American cop turned vigilante. Left the force after shooting a kid with a gun and now refuses to use such a weapon. Cracks down on illegal gun dealers/users with batons, pepper spray, tasers etc. Not above seriously beating a crook. Ad Tagline " You're gonna wish he'd shot you dead"

    And YOURS?

Olufemi Barrington-Smyth aka The Coconut. Like Flaming Carrot it's just a thing he has a Coconut for a head. Equally at home on the Lacrosse field or Chittlin shack but accepted at neither. Only ever tackles the most banal of mysteries. Basically flaming carrot with a crap pun.

I'm not sure either would fit into the MILESTONE formula, so sorry if it isn't the case :

Young Terror - a poor teenage african-american who happened to receive a Yellow Power Ring because of the fear wealthy white folks have of him and his family

Dawnfist - a mysterious figure, whose whole body his hidden underneath reinforced clothes, helmet, leather armor, etc. As strong and resilient as ten guys and able to rally people around him/her with his/her voice, who fights for social justice, equality for all, etc.

Brilliant the Immortal - this is the Earth-M counterpart of Duke Thomas. On the Milestone Earth Duke is a long lived hero who's been protecting the innocent from behind the scenes. His powers are similar to his Earth-0 counterpart but because of his experience he is significantly more powerful, able to absorb and manipulate sunlight in his body to enhance not only his sight but also his physical and mental capabilities, as well as see and communicate across different planes of existence under the right conditions. He uses his intelligence, abilities, and covert influence (acquired over time) to protect the Earth from threats that no one knows about from space, the multiverse, or just mankind.

Think Mark Millar's Prodigy from Image meets Roberto da Costa (Sunspot/Citizen V) from Marvel, with a dash of Batman.

THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

"power does not corrupt, power always reveals."

And now her legacy character. Urassaya Rutana is a Thai medical student who discovers a dragonfly amulet that bonds to her physically and mentally. It grants her supernatural powers and makes her the protector of the human and mystical community in her home town. Think of her as the Jaime Reyes to Maria's Ted Kord.

I think the only thing that doesn't necessarily "fit" is that Milestone in most situations is disconnected from the typical DC Universe. They also tend to be original members of their own franchise. They wouldn't inherit anything from another franchise.

Young Terror could just get his fear powers from a different source. Just make him a Bang Baby who can manipulate fear through pheromones or something.

I actually had an idea of a parody of a "diverse" super hero group, just a funny thought, who is created to be a PR move for the government so why not share it here.

    Social Justice Champions

American Shogun - American soldier Lt. Marcus Shunoko is tasked by several of his superiors to create a super hero group and stop small crimes and appear as if their actually doing something. Marcus wields a sword, thats been in his family for centuries that is made of a very rare metal, and has decided to use it in battle several times (I think kind of Captain America meets Katana). He hates almost every member of the team for being is his conservative mind "weird".

Queen Quantum - Black drag queen Hard Wear aka Richard North is hit by a weird meteor shower and was given strange energy manipulation powers and some gravity manipulation powers.

Manpower - While looking for some shelter during a storm drunk and angry homeless man, Ryan Nicolo, is struck by lightning three times with the third time a strange face appear in the clouds and the lightning came out of its mouth. The next day Ryan is fine and has given great power of thunder and lightning. (Thinking about his power coming from the Greek God Zeus for a specific purpose)

Senor Tiger - Masked wrestler Senor Tiger fights matches in the ring and fights crime in the streets and sometimes fights crimes in the ring. Like some masked wrestlers he doesn't reveal his birth name or take off his mask not even to the reader. He treats fighting crime like it was a wrestling match.

Wildpaw - Henry Greatwood is a fat soft spoken Native American gay man who can mystically channel the strength of 3 bears.

Arabian Knights - A group of robots wielding weapons are controlled by a helmet created by scientist/engineer Dr. Deron Barat.

Marathon Woman (could be The Flash if Milestone is set in a different universe) - Samoan feminist Alex Togia is granted super speed after an accident with a vibrating...machine

    KOKOPELI

He’s either the Trickster God come to Earth on a mission to save us all, or a delusional human being w. the psionic ability to disrupt probability and negate the laws of physics (Ohm's, Newton’s, Coulomb's, Stefan's, Pascal's etc.) in a localized area. Either way he’s drawn the attention of various ppl and organizations in the Milestone Universe; some want to study him, some to help him, some to control him, some to worship him, and some think he’d be better off dead.
