Chadwick Baldwin "Kamalu, The Floating Man" - a black American man who stumbles upon "The Upright House" while tracing his ancestory and is chosen to become Kamalu, the Floating Man; the collective will of the people to strive toward freedom. It's a mix of Bloodwynd, Thor, Black Panther, and Nigerian mythology (primarily Sky King Eri and Amadioha). He has the ability to float, make things float within a certain range, manipulate inertia, and possesses superhuman physicality. his mission is to use the cosmic wisdom of the "Upright House" to liberate disenfranchised people, particularly to eliminate the systems which perpetuate globalized white supremacy and the exploitation of Africa by foreign powers

I like that Killara's powers aren't related to the Dreamtime. Very cool.

Anton's powers are filled with potential. Imagine he starts with the ability to create small spheres, like marbles, that pop like fireworks when the weak electromagnetic shell degrades releasing the electrical or fiery plasma within. Then they grow to head sized, going off like hand grenades, or possibly even being created 'empty' and used to block attacks coming at him. Finally, he can create an 'empty' magnetic sphere large enough to sit down inside, providing both defense and transportation, as he can make them fly around at will, something he's been able to do with smaller spheres, but now expanded to a full on 'travel power' that legs him fly around in his own defensive energy bubble. At the highest levels, he'd be able to create a larger one, that he can stand in, and even carry a couple passengers in. All sorts of fun potential from a single power, to create energy spheres. Offense, defense and transportation, all built into one.

Yeah I really didn't want to use that stereotype and Jubilee's powers are rare enough to not be overused.

These are great ideas. Thank you.

Vijay was a DMC oc I commissioned but I think he would work well here.

He's a concerned third party that pops up when something weird happened.

He's the Doctor/ John Constantine like figure who pops up and you aren't sure how trustworthy they are.

Psychometry is fun, but you have to be careful to not use it to trivialize any sort of mystery. "Zap, I know what happened here..."

It can also be weaponized in a couple of ways. Causing someone to relive past traumas, or sharing your own past traumas, with them (particularly brutal for a mom to do, 'sharing' the experience of a 10 hour labor compressed into a couple of seconds with some poor schmuck). Tapping into the memories of past users of a weapon or item that's been used by an expert, so, picking up Katana's katana and suddenly being able to access her skill with it, because you can tap into the sword's past user's skill would be another crazy tweak. "Hey, Batman, thanks for the batarang, which I've never used before, and just like that, I can suddenly use as well as you can..."

A African-Japanese or African-Korean woman, a nerdy otaku girl, with the superpower to turn into a giant kaiju of some sort. There are people of both African and Asian descent, and kaiju are cool, and there's never enough nerd girls. Just keep her more of an anime fan nerd, not some brilliant scientist or hacker like most comic book nerd characters. I think it could be an interesting combination of traits for a hero.
