Default Frankenstein recruits new team in Gotham City Monsters

I’m down with anything featuring DC’s Frankenstein!

I read his N52 run a few months ago. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it, but truth be told I liked it a whole lot.
Then there are his appearances in Superman Rebirth (basically one arc) which were great.
Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the writer, especially when it comes to team books.
I might check this out, nevertheless.

Would have liked Simon Dark to have been in this.

Completely lost me at Gotham City. I have honestly had enough of that city and the rich dude who protects it. It’s a shame because I really like Orlando and the characters used here.
Imagine being proud to have negative traits. I can’t relate.

DC: Justice League, The Flash, Justice League Dark, Superman, Action Comics, Green Arrow, Justice League Odyssey, The Terrifics, Teen Titans, Titans, Brimstone, Female Furies, Damage, Heroes In Crisis

Marvel: The Punisher, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Venom, X-23, Cloak and Dagger, Jessica Jones, Sentry

Indies: Unnatural, Jeepers Creepers, Project Superpowers, Black Hammer, Ninja-K

I was gonna say that! But apparently, not even Frankenstein can have his own book unless it’s tied to Batman somehow.

Cool roster and mission statement but I feel like this another Justice League Dark book or at the very least, a mashup of Justice League Dark and the Suicde Squad.
Currently(or soon to be) Reading: Alan Scott: Green Lantern, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Jay Garrick: The Flash, Justice Society of America, Power Girl, Superman, Shazam, Titans, Wesley Dodds: Sandman, Wonder Woman, & World's Finest: Teen Titans.

It’s just the nature of the industry. Batman is the only DC property that consistently sells. If tying this book into his world is the only way we can get more Frankenstein, so be it.

I get the idea, but being set in Gotham didn't really help Simon Dark or Gotham After Midnight sell well.

I'm so glad Andrew Bennett is here but I hate that this is tied to Gotham City. It makes the DC universe feel so small when everything occurs in one city.

Cant believe they put an artist ive never heard of on this book.

I’ll have to see the art, before i jump on this.

I guess artists dont draw, marvel was right.

Edit: another save the universe story, come on people! Enough! Or atleast build to that momentous event. Big whoop if u save the universe in issue 5, what then?

Sadly I don’t see it lasting long but tying it into Batman/Gotham probably made the DC brass feel better about giving this book the green light. Whatever, I’m just happy one of my favorite characters will be appearing in a book again. I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

    "Lady Clayface"?
I'm assuming the other Clayface is still around then?
