Remember when people were acting like Thompson and Nadler would save them from the straight and white male cast of Uncanny, only for Marvelous X-Men to go and give 4 issues of character development (if you can say that) for the 3 white dudes and just now focusing truly on one of the girls

Don't think the Hickman effect is visible this month either.

Uncanny issues last month sold about 48K while this month's issues were around 43K. Can be explained by standard attrition and lack of variant covers for 17&18 compared to 15&16.

Same for Age of X issues.

As far as I can tell they are only cover price variants but that would have an effect. As I replied later the drop was not as big as I thought it was when I made that original comment. I do think there will be a trickle effect and it is more likely that retailers reduce the number of shelf (i.e., back issue) copies while readers will be more likely to just finish out the series at this point.

This was the first month x-23 solo's weren't in top 100 since ANW and i think Liu's run.

Also who would have though shitty marketing that could amount to saying dont buy age of x men buy war of realms, uncanny or nothing till Hickman and letting everyon assuming it's just a shitty age of apocalypse retrain would hurt sales.

I loved their Cable arc. It was all about Cable's family and fears, it actually explored more about Cable's character, feelings and relationships.
