Get a social media presence... It's easier to grow followers with an entertaining twitter or Instagram account and then redirect them to your blog from time to time.
Won't happen over night though.

Dogging out writers that a lot of folks are fans of(like that review of the Deathstroke trade does) ain't exactly going to win folks over by the score.

While I get that it's your point of view, think over that it might not exactly go over like you think it will.
