Shuma is quite a bit more potent from what I remember.

Based on everything I've seen, and their presentations, Shuma-Gorath takes this one even in the Dark Dimension. Going into other people's places and wrecking them is kind of his hobby.

I expect in the Dark Dimension Furnace Face makes a credible fight of it, but that's all.

Mileage may vary, and I'm pretty cool to hear proof to the contrary.

Currently, isn't the Dorm using Galactus as a vessel of sorts? Would that give him a chance?

If he has gone full-on Evangelion with Galactus, it will probably give him an edge here, yep. Sadly, I don't know what that will do for him (I'm expecting poor writing like 'he starts beating up Clea and Strange', and that's about all) as I haven't read issue 15 yet.
