Hulk in Top 10. Ewing the Gawd.
"Cable was right!"
When was the last time a book doubled its orders in mere months through sheer word of mouth without being an anniversary or event?
Sorry for the off-topicness (it’s already sort of being discussed), but maybe the chance of finding the “target” of my question is higher here anyway...but am I missing something with this newest Hulk series? I’m generally not a fan of the Hulk (so much so that I usually actively avoid the character, instead of just ignoring)...any other non-fans tried out the book and enjoyed it?
I usually do enjoy Ewing’s writing.
Give Ewing a xmen book.
Basically, Hulk runs are generally exceptional in a vaccuum, but the franchise has no consistency with its genre, tone, or even main character as a whole. So by doing another exceptional Hulk run on top of reimagining all Hulk history as an actual cohesive and all-new thing with a unique horror bend, Ewing and Bennet have brought the series to a creative peak where the book is very good on top of literally being the new hot ****.
As for sales, I dunno, maybe speculators are just on top of it trying to catch the first appearance of whatever unholy hell demon Ross will become.
So hey! How about that X-Men?!
I don't blind date I make the direct market vibrate
I'm not really into Hulk but it is nice to see it doing so great.
I sadly expect very bad sales for the X-books.
Marvel has 118 book vs DC's 60.And wolverine isn't really back yet.The hightes being 126 done by marvel in 1993.
