I know it's a cover contest, yet you can't invoke these without celebrating the cartoons...

I'll leave that other "shape-shifty-transmogrifying" car show for another poster and inevitable cover.

Meanwhile, I first looked if there had been a comics version of Flåklypa Grand Prix (The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix in English), but sadly there haven't been one.

«Speaking generally, it is because of the desire of the tragic poets for the marvellous that so varied and inconsistent an account of Medea has been given out» (Diodorus Siculus, The Library of History [4.56.1])

That is exactly right. The story inside was pretty much an homage to the film, with Doom being the equivalent of Baron Bomburst. The locals needed something to give their monarch for his birthday so they went and stole the car from the Baxter Building. Doom actually owned it at one time in college but swapped Reed for an anti-matter regulator.

Get you where you wanna go, if you know what I mean
Got a ride that's smoother than a limousine
Can you handle the curves, can you run all the lights
If you can, baby boy, then we can go all night

    'Cause it's 0 to 60 in 3.5
    Baby, you got the keys
Now shut up and drive, drive, drive
Shut up and drive, drive, drive
