Hello to all. My sister has come though surgery successfully; thanks for the well-wishing on her behalf. Hopefully she will be able to go home tomorrow and begin her six-week recovery. She truly is a better sibling than I deserve; and I hope this day will lead to a quality of life that she deserves.

It is later than I had hoped; but the new contest is up. I hope it will be even just a fraction as enjoyable as this one was.

Good to hear the surgery seems to have gone well and she should be back home shortly.
Will she have family or a caregiver staying with her at home during at least the first part of her recovery?

She ended up staying an extra night due to her medications making her nauseous; but they adjusted that. She is at home now. My niece -- who just graduated high school -- is basically going to make it her summer job to stay at home and assist her mom as needed. So it looks like the recover plan is in place. Thanks!
