Way to go Java! Great Mark Schultz cover!
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Thank you Tami for tallying up the votes.
(As I was afraid, this morning was a bit more hectic than usual.)

Congratulations to our winner for this week, javasaurus!

Yeah, dinosaurs were cool, too. I still have memories of seeing the Sinclair Petroleum dinosaur exhibit at the 1964-65 New York Worlds Fair.

Also congratulations to WestPhillyPunisher for a strong 2nd-place showing!
    Missed it by that much!

Congratulations to Javasaurus for a cover which brought dinosaurs, a huge selling point, to a cover and yet did not use the big brand name (Cadillac). This is data that must go into the captain's plethora of contest planning. Well done, Javasaurus.

As to what the captain has learned this week, cars are a big part of our lives. In many cases, they are the colorful feathers and primping our youth use to attract prospective partners. "What do you drive?" is a common enough question. And our heroes (and villains) choice of vehicle can be a big part of their appeal.

Holy flying Batmobiles! I didn't see this one coming. Many thanks for the votes in week where everyone was firing on all cylinders with their choices of covers. As fate would have it, I have limited access right now as I'm at the hospital where my sister is currently undergoing hip-replacement surgery. I will try to post a new contest later today or early evening. But please be patient while I deal with family. Thanks again to a great group of people.

    Ouch!

Hope all goes well and she has a good (and hopefully as easy as possible) recovery from that. Is she scheduled for any physical therapy sessions yet?
(Hopefully P.T. won't be a problem in terms of where she would have it and getting to-and-from sessions.)
