Been a long time since I watched any television so I seem to have forgotten most intros even if they would surely come back if I saw them again.

The Dallas intro however, is still fresh in my mind for some reason.

There's a holdup in the bronx/Brooklyn's broken out in fights/There's a traffic jam in Harlem that's backed up to Jackson Heights/There's a scout troop short a child, Khruchev's due at Idlewild...CAR 54 WHERE ARE YOU?

This is the season 1 intro for THE MONKEES--which is the one I remember, not that later intro.



Despite the words in the song assuring us that they're just trying to be friendly, I took that song as a threat--you better get ready, because we may be coming to your town. And what are they going to do when they get here? Rough up some people, overthrow the government, rule through fear? They seemed like a bunch of hoodlums.

ROOM 222 had a beautiful piece of music, composed by Jerry Goldsmith, for its intro. I don't get tired of hearing it.
