My favourite intro when I was like three years old was for IVANHOE which was shown in re-runs on CBC. I would gallop around the living room on my stick horse when that theme played--the rest of the show, I hardly watched any of it--but I always watched the intro.
The Six Million Dollar Man intro always gave goosebumps. "We have the technology."
Also the Bionic Woman intro. Those were intros man.
The Justice League animated intro is pretty awesome too.
Of course, the 1966 BATMAN TV show had one of the most thrilling intros. Do I need to post it? When that came on, I would be wearing my Batman T-shirt, my Batman mask, my Batman plastic utlility belt, and I'd have a blue cape (my mother made from one of my sister's old skirts). I would go running around the living room, jumping on the furniture, using my fists to POW and BIFF imaginary Jokers and Penguins.
Heard there was a new movie in the works. In terms of intros, I prefer the 90s version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIuuPTM3nSc
As for other intros, wow, just way to many to count. Off the top of my head:
X-Men: TAS
Spider-Man: TAS
The Tick
Superman: TAS
Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?
Star Trek: TNG
Knight Rider
Perfect Strangers
Ghostbusters
Gargoyles
Simpsons
Stargate: SG-1
Probably will post more when think of them.
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Probably one of the top. Mainly because it reminds me to be like Kwai Chang Caine and dispense justice with Kung Fu!:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
I like the Psych opening with all its variants.
The a capella Boyz II Men one being the best.
