I love everyone in the Mr & Mrs X thread, but I think AppleJ has done an admirable job of keeping the place positive or at least distracting us from our issues with Excalibur so we don't all collectively blow a gasket

Whenever so think about Rachel, X-23, Storm, Polaris, Cable, and Jubilee, I’m always consciously and subconsciously thinking about RachelGrey, Ambaryerno, butterflykiss, salarta, bl00dwerk, and Dementia5. PsychoEFrost and Diammandis are both sitting on a two-seated metaphorical bike in my metaphorical “love Emma” brain, I feel like they really represent both sides of the Emma fandom that I love. The way y’all stan for your favs is always so fun to see.

This is very sweet, thank you both! I can still be found enjoying an occasional lurk. Mostly checking in on those still stuck in detention.

But this is such a lovely, blessed thread and it's making me feel very nostalgic for the good old days where I posted more frequently. You know, back when we all thought that Marvel was going to break into our homes and force-feed us Terrigen.

As a community, these boards have often gotten intense, heated, even toxic. So maybe the bad rap we often get isn't entirely unfounded. But I also don't think that there's an x-community I'd prefer. The anonymity of the forums may seem retro, but has always helped ensure that we don't clamour around a clique of thought leaders. Users here are passionate and honest. Perhaps too pessimistic at times! But never do you find the comments and opinions of one user lifted above everyone else. And that's something I deeply appreciate about this platform.

I absolutely respect and appreciate all of you and since joining this board a couple of years ago it's been one of my favorite internet places to go for the best conversations related to my prime geek topic.

Silver Fang: The M-word represents everything I hate. Wait, no, not Mutant, I mean Mystique.

If the X-Office would keep her the Hell away from Creed, I could be wonderfully indifferent to her. But since Aaron's dumb ass made them a "couple" out of nowhere in 2010, they now come as a package deal, it seems. Like POX. We got ONE panel of Creed from that series, and behold, he's with Mystique again. *scream*

Breaking up that coupling, putting the comicbook character Creed within the comicbook character Krakoa, was to me a surprise.
