Default Efram Zimbalist Jr., aka the best Alfred, is dead

Because he was without a doubt the best Alfred to ever butler for a Master Bruce.

Although it would have been better had I spelled his name correctly. Efrem, not Efram.

Okay well I am sorry he is dead and all that, but I disagree about him being the best Alfred. I mean, just going off cartoons alone I actually quite enjoyed Alfred from "The Batman" cartoon. I've also enjoyed Michael Caine in the role. But I digress, still unfortunate he is dead.

And he was Doctor Octopus in the 1990s Spider-Man cartoon, a role he reprised in the Spider-Man video game from 2000.
The spider is always on the hunt.

Well, I'm old enough to remember watching Mr. Zimbalist on The FBI. Rest in peace, sir.

I'm old enough to have seen the show on ABC quite a few times myself during the early-mid '70s (a Quinn-Martin Production!) Good program, too.

Definitely not old enough to have remembered it in first-run form. In fact, I have never seen an epsiode of the program. It never aired in the NYC area when I was a kid. Guess I could find it on the Internet somewhere, of course.

He really was good in that role, but Alastair Duncan might be the best of them all.
