You know, this reminds me of how Sinister taunted Cyclops after he got locked up after AvX. We never did get a proper point of Sinister being a proper villain for Cyclops since then.

In hindsight it's weird. Part of Scott's motivation to escape prison apart from the murder of that mutant was to stop Sinister.

And after that Sinister did absolutely nothing for years until after Secret Wars decided to clone Cyclops with inhuman genes.
