but luckily it didn't. ships are overrated, they don't really make the characters better or worse. Emma just happened to be there, Scott could be with any other woman and he would be the same character.
Maybe a bit less pathetic without emma.
This, I agree. Sometimes I think that cyclops fans doesn't even like him, they write like only Emma make him the character they like.
I owuld never said it for a fave character of mine. X character made Y character interesting and cool.

Rosenberg saying he "likes" Emma is like a writer saying they "like" Jean, but only during times when Scott saved her. Rosenberg clearly liked her from 1981-1988, and that's fine. But writing her as that now is not.

Morrison Cyclops was't lead material. he shouldn't have became a leader again so quickly. But x-men would crumble without him, in the forced Morrison plot, so he became the all be leader forced on readers

Except I've been arguing that his choices were his and his development wasn't a result of Emma.

He was working through personal stuff at this time.

I saw it, i'm not refering to you. But many Cyclops fans say it

He was working through personal stuff at this time.
And it was gone when Jean died? LOL. because even after morrison he shouldn't be the leader

I am going to avoid answering that.

What I will do is clarify that my statement was pointing out the timing of her opinion of the X-Men. That is, a period after DoX where many of the X-Men spit on the memory of Scott, a period after IvX where the rest of the X-Men cast her out. Those were not X-Men teams that were appreciative of all she had done, so obviously not worth her praise. Considering they went and got themselves dead, she might have a point.

Well they aren't dead, and Emma got captured by ONE

As far as she (and everyone else) knows, every X-Man besides Scott and his crew are dead.

Pretty sure this is all answered in "Here Comes Tomorrow".

If you don't like the story that's fine, but it's the explanation.

She was shading the X-men for an audience of the HFC, it was an act. You see how she reacts when she realizes it's really Dani and the others controlled by ONE.

Apparently Rosenberg loves Havok, despite writing him like a whiny brat. Honestly, I think he's just out of touch with a lot of characters and since there's little editorial mandate, he's just writing whatever is fun or cool in his mind.

But yeah. Bring on Hickman. For everyone's sake.

The explanation is that Scott needed to get over Jean?

The X-men didnt cast her out; she fled. She never stuck around to deal with the fallout of IvX and she's never been held accountable for that by the X-men
