Her influences are arguable, but I respectfully disagree on the notion that she was a bad influence on his life. His choices, were his.

and were mostly bad since emma, so she was a bad influence.

Emma's last line was embarrassingly lame lol. Bring on Hickman's Emma!

Cyclops changed for better, and if X-Men were a manga instead of a comic book meant to never end, this image would have been a great ending point for the franchise

Scott is a lot more popular now than in the 90s because of the character development he got from Morrison on

Cyclops basically took over all books, so yeah

You mean protecting mutants and humans, while not being a raging hypocrite like Wolverine? Those were "bad" decisions?

That was Jean/Havok X-Men. Scott is back so clearly her opinion of the X-Men has changed.

So she only likes X-men because of Scott?

I feel like part of the discussion also hinges on the belief that Cyclops became less heroic after Morrison. On this, I would also respectfully disagree. For example, he started X-force with zero influence from Emma.

If that character development came only for a relationship with Emma, then is not that cool

but luckily it didn't. ships are overrated, they don't really make the characters better or worse. Emma just happened to be there, Scott could be with any other woman and he would be the same character.
Maybe a bit less pathetic without emma.

Wolverine was always popular, so it felt earned. Scott was shoved and had a drastic 180 turn to make him cool

So Cyclops never had a leading role on the X-Men prior to Morrison? I never knew that.

And a drastic 180 turn from helping mutants to... helping mutants...
