I suspect Strange is going to be relaunched. Sales have been solid so it'd be odd if it were cancelled.

Based on the solicit, it sounds like there's going to be a status quo change that will led to a relaunch/rebranding.

At least I hope that's what's happening as Strange as been one my favorite titles under Waid.

I agree. "last issue of Dr Strange" seems a lot like a retitleing/renumbering rather than an ending. I suspect there will be some Strange book next month. It's also like Marvel hasn't renamed books temporarily midstream for story purposes either. If it IS big enough, Marvel may also hold back on October solicits for this series/continuation as well. But to Marvel's credit, they've gotten interest for it.

How do they even fit in continuity together? He was in jail, then running around in his old Commander Rogers costume, whereas in Avengers, X-Men, and any other guest appearances, he's the usual Captain America.

If they want to do MCU synergy, they don't have to kill off Steve, make him retire, or turn him evil. Those have all been done before. Let's have Steve and Sam both operate as a heroic Cap simultaneously. There's a duplicate shield left over from Waid's run that Sam can have, left behind by a Steve who travelled back from the future and died to negate that future.
