Catching up on some reading and got to thinking, w. Agents of Atlas discontinued…

…Amadeus Cho, his sister Maddy, and girlfriend Luna would make for an adventurous young FF type of team. Theres some similarities; you have the brother/sister combo ala Sue and Johnny, Luna works w. ice instead of flame, Amadeus is part Ben Grimm (the big guy) and part Reed Richards (the smart guy).

Only thing I’m drawing a blank on is a fourth member to round things out.
None of the other AoA characters really click for me, dang it.

A magical FF came to mind while I was catching up on some books from the last few months.

    DR. STRANGE
Like Reed in regards to science, Stephen is the go-to guy in the MU when it comes to magic. Both are also older than average for superheroes w. grey in their hair.

    CLEA
She and Sue both started out as eye candy and damsels in distress, but have evolved into credible badasses potentially more powerful than their menfolk. Clea and Stephen are married but estranged so we have built in will they won’t they drama.

    DOYLE DORMAMMU
Not Clea’s brother but her cousin. And come on, he’s a young hothead w. a fiery look to him and the ability to create and control (magical) flames. That’s very Johnny Storm-ish.

    MAN-THING
I thought of a few different characters to fill in for Ben, but went w. Manny, because he’s a physical powerhouse who’s hard to take down, has magical ties and is a tragic man turned monster.

Dear snobs, don't try to figure out my avatar.

Sorry, I am agnostic. And your presumptions makes you something.

I like how you picked four mutants to kind of cover the four classic FF members.

    Once more, with melanin!

Forge - genius inventor, plus some other stuff
Cecelia Reyes - the force field chicklet
    Sunfire - the hothead
    Gentle - big-hearted strong-guy

(Colossus and Rockslide also fit nicely into the Thing slot. Firestar and Thunderbird 3/Neal Sharra in the fire-person slot. There are plenty of either invisible girls like Cipher or other force field chicklets like Skids, Unuscione or Armor.)

Cecilia Reyes is a great great choice.

I think you nailed it w. Gentle though (who I just used for a build I logged on to post, go figure), as his powers come w. a price, and could be something Forge actively seeks to help him w. which kinda mirrors how Reed always tried to return Ben to human form.

Actually, i liked the idea of an Ice head over a hot head especially how Bobby and Johnny are not that dif in personality in certain areas and I wanted to make it quirky but your team is def more bad ass.

I have NOT been a fan of the Immortal Hulk spin-off, Gamma Flight.
I will however, snatch up a couple of their characters for this build. With tongue firmly in cheek here comes Marvel’s version of The Terrifics…

    DOC SAMSON (Mr. Terrific)
I’m bringing him back to all his lush haired ruggedly handsome glory. When you’re Marvel’s go-to psychiatrist, you end up treating some of the most powerful and or unstable characters ever; on Earth, in space, even other dimensions. You need a good team to get you out of some crazy situations, no pun intended.

    GEIGER (Phantom Girl)
Delilah Dearborn as the requisite female on the team, and often the voice of reason. She doesn’t line up w. Phantom Girl in terms of powers, but she and Doc have matching costumes which is great for where I’m going w. this.

    ABSORBING MAN (Metamorpho)
Crusher Creel’s a good choice here, I think. Like Metamorpho, his power set is visually fun to play with. Creel’s usually topless and I’m sticking w. that, but from the waist down his belt pants and boots will be the same as Doc, to have that unified team look.

    CAPTAIN ULTRA (Plastic Man)
I wanted someone like Plastic Man here; seen as goofy but actually quite powerful. I hit pay dirt when I learned that Captain Ultra and Doc had worked together before, in one of Iron Man’s old ongoing titles. He def. wouldn't change his costume but he’d slap a Doc Samson lightning bolt logo on his chest plate to show solidarity.

Very nice. Maybe you can call your group The Magnifics? Let's see if DC will threaten a lawsuit over your homage team. ha ha

I find it interesting to compile a Fantastic Four team out of Legacy characters

    Moon Girl for Reed
    Kiden for Sue
    Shuri for Ben
    Thane for Johnny

    1. Black Widow - MCU rep
    2. Spider-Man
    3. Ms. Marvel - might not be the same person, but their codename is used
    4. Moon Knight

Okay so I may or may not have just picked the first 4 I saw. May or may not.

    Sue-------Cecilia Reyes
    Johnny---Dante Pertuz (Inferno)
    Ben-------Antonio Rodriguez (Armadillo)
