And back in the day (the last century), Spectre teamed up with Batman in a few issues of The Brave & the Bold.

Brave and the Bold #75 (December 1967-January 1968)

Brave and the Bold #116 (December 1974-January 1975)

Brave and the Bold #180 (November 1981)

Batman and Spectre were also in issue #199 in a story written by Mike W. Barr with pencils by Ross Andru.

    I'm confused.

What even is the current status quo with The Spectre? Why does Batman try to fight him?

Nice art here, but I was left scratching my head at the end of the story. The Spectre sounded like himself, even if a bit cliche, but his relationship with Batman seemed off.

It wasn't too bad. The art was OK.

I love seeing Jim Corrigan and the Spectre in Gotham crossing paths with Batman but had a problem following this story and like legion_quest, found their relationship a bit off. I really look forward to the next issue though.
