I known the mongrels aren't his default response, and Logan dose try to be a parent. As for the fathers day, for some stupid reasion rather then showing is him trying to be a parent to his current kids marvel feels it's better to tell us via flash back and off panel insted, and she interacted with gambit more insted. Having the non evil members of the wolverine family/pack/clan together or interact for some reasion marvel dosent want for some reasion.
