It might be better to wait until entries are closed before posting additional covers so no idea is taken. And yes, I am being "that guy" right now, God have mercy on my soul.

I'm surprised that while DC had the licence (and potential for crossover) , they didn't try an issue where the Sweathogs become some sort of Superheroes.
Either in some form of dream sequence, or comedic accident situation paralleling the Challengers of the Unknown or like the F4, caught in some science lab/boiler-room experiment gone awry, giving them outrages temporary powers.
Or even some kind of self-made characters analogues of the Teen Titans, being published at that time.

    Robin- Vinnie Barbarino
Kid Flash - Boom Boom Washington
Speedy - Juan Luis Pedro Felipo de Huevos Epstein
    Aquald - Arnold Horshack -
    Wondergirl - Rosalie "Hotsie" Totsie

Mr. Kotter and Julie as some kind of Superman & Wonder Woman Mentor role.

    And Woodman as the villain.

Edit: Couldn't resist ^ obviously not a real cover.

That cover brings back great memories of the show!

RIP Marcia Strassman (Julie Kotter), Ron Palillo (Arnold Dingfelder Horshack) and Robert Hegyes (Juan Luis Pedro Felipo de Huevos Epstein)

And Mr. Woodman, I guess. Lol

My reputation is such that "Get Off My Lawn" is understood in everything I say.

Yep.....I still recall my parents number was Turner 25688, written as TU 25658. Had to be able to recite it in order to be in kindergarten as I recall.

My town had prefixes of 342, 343, and 345 and the 34 went with the city's name of Fitchburg. Although we used diamond as the "codeword". The neighboring evil town of Leominster had prefixes of 534 and 537. Evidently there was some thought put into this system at the start.

Heck, I remember back before my town got 7-digit phone numbers (whether or not the first two digits were letters or numbers). When and where I grew up, there weren't dial telephones. Our number was 712-R, because it was a party line. You had to ask the operator to call it for you. I'm old, and I lived in the sticks.

Thank you for your attention to my geriatric rant. We now return you young whippersnappers to your regularly scheduled discussion of comic book covers.

I know in my area in NJ we had "Pilgrim" as the prefix (for 74), though I always said "74" instead for the start of my number. I remember "Pilgrim" more from business advertisements in phone books and such.

And we didn't have any outhouses around where I lived, though I have heard of homes in small places from Kentucky and Tennessee that still did back in the 1970s (at least according from some buddies who were younger than me who grew up down that way).

You're thinking of last week's contest! I'd say it fits both themes.
