Everyone pointed out how that one wasn't a mutant, but Hickman just responds to watch him work.
Oh ok thanks so much. I was looking for it.

Definitely excited. I've enjoyed all of Hickman's works. The man has a flair for the dramatics that is sorely missing from the X-books these days, that and he seems really passionate about taking a crack at the X-books.

Add that to the fact that the X-books have been pretty sub par for the past 6 to 7 years and you bet your ass I'm excited.

Surely I'm. Otherwise how else should I be? bored to death by current X-franchise. Hopefully Hickman will bring a fresh start for the X-men franchise.

She was using "White Queen" as code name during Generation X, New X-Men and the Fraction run. May be more instances as well, but that's off the top of my head.

    I am ridiculously excited

This is the biggest push the X-Men have had in years and the creative teams are incredible.

After the last decade of anti fox and Ike bullsh@t, this feels fantastic.

Doesn't really mean anything- he also said he only got interested in Emma in Gen X.

Nah. Every X-Men reboot(or whatever they're calling this) has disappointed IMO since the turn of the century. I don't see how this one is gonna be any different, especially if they're gonna keep all these random ass new mutants around.

I am excited for X-Men comics for the first time in years. I like Hickman’s work very much, and I think many of the concepts of the X-Men really play to his strengths. I hope it’s a reinvigoration of the whole concept, like they are billing it.

Ideally, I’d like him to really use the entire cast, although I expect there will be a core group of characters who get most of the focus. I’m totally open to whatever takes he wants to make with characters.

I really hope that they give him as much free rein as possible. Things need a good shakeup, and I don’t mean the kind we usually get in comics with new rosters and character deaths and all that. I’m hoping for some genuine creativity pushing the characters and stories in new directions.

    There should be a poll.

    Very Excited
    Cautiously Interested
Concerned...he will ruin EVERYTHING I love about my favourite character and the X-Men in general)

The first revealed dialog from Charles is definitely piquing my interest. I just hope Storm isn't left on the side again like with Morrison. I loved X-Treme X-Men too, but it was definitely Claremont's little side project, while Morrison's New X-Men was setting the stage for the franchise for a decade and more to come, with Storm little more than a green tea cameo.

I think it's way overdue to have a fresh start like we had with Second Genesis, X-Men, AoA and New.

So I welcome it with open arms. Though many might suffer from it and those who were recently killed off might be off the board for quite a while till keep the cast of the books smaller.

Of course some of those are favourites of mine but I hope these deaths will make sense in the new fresh start.

Nah. His dry writing on Avengers and Secret Wars put him off from me for good. I prefer heart to go along with complexity.

Meh every run for the past 10 years was hyped and promised a lot. All have disappointed so I have 0 expectations. He has a low bar to contend with.
