True. And how much time did Uncle Ben really get on the page?

Nevertheless, I can see the point of some people complaining about the writing here. It does feel like a major part of the characters background - having a child - was overlooked for years and then just addressed tangentially pretty late in the game.

Oh well. It could have been worse - it could have been revealed that while married Jane cheated on her husband with Thor and that the child was really theirs, and that he was not killed at all but secretly abducted by Odin because he found out that the child would grow to be more powerful than any living god.

Sounds like the kind of crap that might actually turn up in the book LOL

If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not

    ...the article is click bait.

It took what... nine pages out of character with 60 years of history to paint Thor's book, supporting cast, and the "handling of women" in a negative light.

Its becoming frustrating watching this forum of medium constantly working against itself and ultimately working against the very medium that actually helps pay it's bills. These articles will be part of the long list of reasons this site and the actual industry is "Old Yeller'd" ,in 2-3 years if numbers keep at the rate that they are.

Shm...Comic sales at the brink of death and a major comic "news" website can't come up with content that isn't manipulative...my goodness.

Hang on. Take a second. Jane was a minor character in the Marvel Universe and was paper thin until JMS picked her up. Nothing about her mattered and even her love interest plotline was totally abandoned very early.

Then Aaron turned her into an actual character. Not just a female love interest stand in, not just a tertiary character, but a lead character with depth and meaning. How can anyone in their right mind call that process “destroyed”. Total nonsense.

P.S. it looks like the MCU agree too. How do you entice back an Oscar winning actress who has gone somewhat cool on her role in the movies? Give her something to do!
