Wait, what run are you guys talking about? When was Mary evil? I love the fact that she was/is the most innocent hero, especially in this day and age.

I actually like the black costume. But I completely missed that story, so this is my first time seeing those images of Mary beating up Crab Face Guy and his girlfriend (who is that?).

But I like the white costume, too. And the original red.

That's Green Lantern Kyle Rayner being used to hit Donna Troy (known by many names including Wonder Girl I, Troia, Darkstar Donna Troy, and Harbinger II)

Oh, wow. I was thinking of the time she was being mind controlled in Super Buddies or Formerly Known as the Justice League. I liked the book a lot for what it was, funny and cute.

I recognized Kyle, didn't realize that was Donna Troy in that outfit. So is "Crab Face Guy" no longer the standard internet nickname for that version of GL? I remember that really catching on when he was introduced, because people thought his mask looked like he had a crab on his face. But I've been out of comics for 15+ years, so I'm behind the times.

Back on topic, what comic was that from, where Mary went evil and wore the black suit? I mostly know her from the 90s Power of Shazam series by Ordway, and crossovers like the Supergirl stuff on the previous page of this thread.

This is one of my favorite pieces of her by Miguel Mercado!

Me too. I have a strong affection towards the Superbuddies and their mini-series Formerly Known as the Justice League. Kevin Maguire's expressive renditions of Mary are among my favorites:

Yes, the artwork was really expressive! The scene where they react to their tv commercial and Mary’s the only one who liked it!

Clever reasoning by the comicbook character Mary Marvel of how to cure the comicbook character Supergirl.
