I liked Hunted as well. I think this run has been solid, but Hunted was pretty dang good. The art by Ramos and Sandoval was solid, and the opening part was hype, as was the ending (that was great).

Hunted doesn't have enough room for its Machiavellian plot and it has a lack of focus on Peter. It's still the second best arc after Jonah time. #OldSnoopIsALiar

For those of you who really liked Hunted, what was so effective about it?
Sincerely,
Thomas Mets
It told a big sprawling story with multiple characters and made all of them have a largely interior character development and growth. That's quite rare for an event storyline.
An event story is often dumb because it always has to deliver on the big moments and splash pages and images. And rarely do writers mix those big moments with character moments and events.
Hunted is primarily a Spider-Man event and so it has the texture and feel of a Spider-Man event story.
Stuff like Peter's paranoia about his dream, MJ sparing that bug in her apartment, the Death of Gibbon, Felicia's growing protectiveness over Billy, Curt Connors' guilt/horror/shame, and Kraven's sense of fatalism...all that come together. As well as smaller parts like Taskmaster and Black Ant's abusive Walrus and Carpenter bond.
I just finished reading Hunted and i loved it. Gibbon/Martin, Billy Connor and Felicia kind of stole the spotlight from every character. Wonderful arc.
I hope the next arc is as wonderful i just ordered the next trade Behind the Scenes

Hunted was certainly the best for me, with Trivial pursuit coming in at a close second.
Being reminded of the stories from the first made me realise how great the first year was. It's a shame Spencer couldn't keep up with the momentum.
Not unlike Slott, the only thing Spencer seems to like doing is spend time with his pet villain/antihero. Not unlike him, the book were he got his wish (Superior Foes/SM) is the one I've liked the best from him, and in the case of ASM, this means #6-7.
Hunted. It was a pretty good first year but Hunted was my favourite story.
Hunted was dope and would make a great game at some point.
