Default Post Endgame: What are you sorry that the MCU never got around to? (Spoilers)

With Cap and Iron Man now permanently off the board, Marvel's CU is entering a new phase. There were some things I really wish tho that they'd done before closing out this volume of their shared verse.

For me, I really regret nobody did a Masters of Evil throw down; I wish that had culminated Phase 2. Sure, it can still be done, but without Cap and Iron Man, I would feel that it was missing something.

A Hulk confrontation with General Ross. Still possible yes, but seems unlikely

I wish we coulda got Wolverine in the MCU before Cap was taken off the table. I'd love the good, the bad and the ugly movie. Guess if Evan's is up to it he can do WW2 flashbacks with Wolverine but yea doubt it.

A good Ultron story, with the real Hank Pym.

There's so much left that could be done with Cap, especially now. Unfortunate that these big movies decided to become what they are.

A more comics faithful introduction of Ultron.

    I understood why it happened.
Hank and Wasp got cut from Avengers, the Ant-man move was taking too long in the pipeline, and all Hank would be introduced in AOU to do is build Ultron. I fully understand why they cut it. Though it does feel like a missed opportunity given Hank is not in the same age range to be doing the same things as everybody else. Yes they could stretch it and on film his actor doesn't have to be the guy in the suit..., but Michael Douglas as of this year is 74. You are not going to get many sequels out of him outside of being a supporting role.

Which ultimately misses out on him properly transitioning Ant-man to Scott Lang, Giant Man (that isn't just a reference or one movie), Yellowjacket (further tainted by Darren Cross), and having that emotional moment with Ultron. It's just all stuff you can't do in the MCU which is a shame considering where both Ant-man films ultimately went. And frankly given Michael Douglas's age, we probably wont get any movie about his early adventures which is a shame considering all the things refferenced and depicted. Being that Ant-man has been in warzones, the classic helmet has been seen, we can't see how he met Janet, nor his meeting with Darren Cross (who is ultimately a better character than his comic counterpart).

Iron Man: Something to reconcile the end of Iron Man 3 where Tony gave up being iron Man with his still being in armor in the later movies. A real Mandarin appearance.

Captain America: Something with either Steve as Nomad or with John Walker being appointed as the new Captain America.

Avengers: Cap's Kookie Quartet. Basically a whole movie set after Civil War dealing with Cap's team operating as outlaws but dealing with regular police, the general public, and such rather than Tony's team trying to take them down.

Remember that there were plans for a Runaways movie (down to a script) before that got pulped and reimagined into a Hulu show after Avengers took over the MCU as the main event of it. Wish that that movie could've been made.
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."

Well, that and the actors kinda want to move on with their lives/careers, selfish bastards

Same, only I wanted some sort of confrontation between Hulk and Ross as Red Hulk. Even if it was just catiness over who is the better Hulk.

Hulk's actions in the third act of Avengers end game.

I can accept he did the greatest act of giving by bringing back half the universe and hurting himself bad in the process.

I can accept he held up a building while injured.

but if he's out of the fight because of these actions, don't show him in the line up.

Instead we see him in the montage and then he walks off stage.
