Esperanza Ling, a Cuban Mutant with the power of Alchemy/immunity to the transmode virus and co-star and friend of Warlock's in his solo series between being Douglock and remembering he's actually just Warlock.

Psimon, a Black teenager and Esperanza's telekinetic and telepathic Mutant love interest from the same series. He also has a psionic older sister called Psiren.

Shane Shooter, Black teen from Los Angeles and Jubilee's love interest from her solo series. He can shoot energy bullets from his fingertips.

Santiago "Santi" Sardina, an ally of Legion from his run starring in X-Men Legacy, he's a young Latinx teen/tween Mutant with the power of praise generation/absorption, people can't help but give him credit and adoration for anything he does, or is in proximity to. Si Spurrier did an amazing job with his Legion arc.

Lightbright, but I'd change her name I think. Obax Majid is Somalian Mutant with the power to fly and photokinesis/light generation.

And a cheat 2-in-1, I'd bring in the preteen twins Nicole and Claudette St. Croix. They've always been extremely powerful Mutants, and since Morrison's run expanded the school to younger kids, it's seemed like the most logical place for them to be anyway, in terms of helping them learn about their powers, and protecting them from Marius.

I'd love to see the Brood mutants from the outback era and the Skrull mutants from the Twelve storyline. Also, not a mutant but Stevie Hunter needs to return.

Edit to add Iceman's sister from the Spidey cartoon needs to debut in the 616.
