Everyone who gave up on Age of X-Man made a mistake. It was definitely a slow burn, but the wrap-up has been great.

Easily the worst of the minis.

Nah, man. #1 - 3 were good. Marvelous is still super bad.

I'm inclined to agree. I rather like this book. I think its is way better than Marvelous X-men. It is an interesting take on Apocalypse and I find myself enjoying Kitty Pryde in this book.

I mean in all honesty I think the Age of X-man series has failed to land, but there have been some good moments (issues) here and there. It had a lot of potential but it just doesn't reach it. The ideas are there but the execution is off. It has sort of been like stuck in groundhog's day. Every issue of each book feels like the one before it. There has been little movement in way of the story.

I like Kitty Pryde being in a cult.

So, this wasn't as bad as I expected. Not on the mood to do a spoiler thread, but this was probably the one good issue of this entire mini. But it might be bad and I'm just going easy on it because the ungodly amount of coffee I drank today is messing with my brain.

Pooky humiliating Dazzler and Colossus was good.

I didn't like what they did to Apocalypse here.
And it's not even consistent, cause Age of X-man was not real, so nobody lived that reality for years like Poccy claimed.

That moment with Dazzler felt kind of like a rant, and I'm not sure if it was Pooky or Seeley speaking LMAO

Not that he was wrong, though. Dazzler would be a better character if they took a lesson from what he said there.

This mini was a little wonky, but all worth it in the end. Just one more book to go.

Apoc wants to evolve into a god of love? Didn't see that coming.
If Apocalypse couldn't phase himself around the menorah because it was from the 616, how did Kitty phase it in the first place?
I liked the Siege Perilous reality earthquake scale.

I took it that the reality was so incredibly unstable that some of the objects were converting back. Plus, Apocalypse was seemingly making a pity play here.

I liked this issue. I liked the book overall but can I just say how HAPPY I am that we're nearing the end of this event this this has been spinning its wheels since March.
