I've never read the first issue of this series, but hear mostly positive reviews. I've seen some of the art and it's beautiful. I'll be ordering the hardcover next time I place an order for sure. Image deluxe hardcovers are definitely worth the price, assuming you're getting them at the heavily discounted online prices. High quality oversized books with great paper and binding, the art will never look better. If you're a big fan of the series I'd highly recommend it.

Over 500 pages. I reserved a copy but Barnes and Noble for some reason doesn’t have despite it being released yesterday. I wonder if online sales had something to do with it

Amazon and B&N usually don't get their copies for a week or two after the direct market release to local comic shops, instocktrades.com, cheapgraphicnovels.com, etc.

How heavy is this thing? I only read comics on Comixology and my tablet is reasonably light, but owning a physical copy is sometimes tempting.

It's just that the website said July 9th on the site. But that makes sense
