Hello. I was wondering what the members of this forum are reading right now. I wanted to do this so maybe I can get some ideas of some newer comics to get into. What is on your pull list and why? What have you dropped in the past few months.

I'm looking at dropping some of it. Probably Freedom Fighters, Martian Manhunter, and Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will get the axe. Spider-Man Life Story is a mini that's ending soon and House and Powers of X will be done by October, so I feel pretty good about that. I want to get back into reading more indie stuff.

As it stand right now, I've got about 8 ongoing books on my LCS' pull list:
- Captain America
- Detective Comics
- Fantastic Four
- The Green Lantern
- Justice League
- Justice League Dark
- Lucifer
- Venom

I'm also getting two mini-series:
- The Batman Who Laughs (which ends next month)
- Batman: Curse of the White Knight (which starts at the end of this month [SO EXCITED!!])

I'm honestly not that impressed with Lucifer and Captain America, so I'm probably going to drop them in favor of some Image books. Sea of Stars came out this week and I'm thinking about trying that out, plus the announced Snyder/Soule Image Project has me very intrigued.

How is the Martian Manhunter book? I've been pretty divided on whether to buy the issues individually or just trade-wait on it.

It's pretty good. I got the first six issues, but now I think I'm going to drop it and trade wait on the rest. I think it's going to read better in trade.

It's not. It's a 12 issue maxiseries, which I love. We need more stories with set beginning, middle and ends.
