Default Spidey Artist Monday: Rich Buckler

I considered other artists who worked with Peter David on the character of Spider-Man, mainly Rick Leonardi and Todd Nauk, but I decided to settle for the co-author of one of the most significant stories in Peter Parker's history.

I think he did more work with other characters, but I have to admire the art style he depicted Spidey with, some nice dynamic movements and some specially cool shadowing. Working on the black fabric suit may have helped his art on the character shine more than it could if he had to draw the classic suit instead.

Rich Buckler art in the Spectacular Spider-Man stories was more cinematic so to speak. For example the credits of the stories of Spider-Man i read were at the end of the story instead of the beggining of the story.
Rich Buckler illustrated in different art styles quite well, comparing the art style of Buckler´s in Fantastic Four to the art style in Spectacular Spider-Man.
