Default I want comicbookdb.com back SO BAD!

Man what a perfect site that was for comic fans like myself. Nothing I've come across since it went away even comes close to it.

Perfect for clicking on a character and being able to see ALL their appearances by series/month/year, or clicking on a creator to see a chronological listing of everything they've worked on.

I really hope it returns, how can we get it back? Does it cost that most time/money to host and admin a site like that?

Agreed. That site was so helpful

I never found my way to them, but they sound pretty amazing. What happened to them?

Who knows, back in December I think they announced the site was going away.

Such a deep database, it was amazing. I loved that you could search an issue and it would tell you the full creative team with links on their names. Links to the trades that issue was collected it, and even a list of characters (with links) that appeared in that issue.

The "list of appearances" for characters and creators was incredible.

We def have a void for a comprehensive database for comics.

I miss it as well. I tended to check things on an almost-daily basis.
