I think that is closer to truth.

I'd put Rhino, Shocker, Carnage, and Chameleon into the B-List section, given they're pretty popular, consistent, Rogues.

    I would combine A and B as A-list , then move C-list up to B

I hope the film keeps it down to one main villain again. A secondary henchman is fine but don't overdo things like the Venom/Sandman/NeoGoblin combo.

I think Homecoming handled it best with one main villain, Vulture, and then had several other villains in minor or side roles, Shocker, Tinkerer, Scorpion, Prowler.

Yeah, I'm expecting Mysterio will be the primary threat, with potentially Gargan in a Scorpion armor working for him and with tech supplied by Tinkerer.

Honestly, in spite of the problems that i have with that movie, i don't think that the 3 combo villains were that bad, specially when their motivations were properly established, even Venom was servicable IMHO, althought i agreed that repeating that idea would be bad, Mysterio being the bad guy and having some kind of second stringer like the Enforcers or Rhino
    would be better.

I just hope Spidey actually does well against the villains he fights in this movie.

I mean, he's probably not going to be able to get clean hits on Mysterio because it's Mysterio, but I hope there's an actual physical threat for him to show off against in this movie.

Mysterio's an interesting choice for a film that seems to take Peter around the world, since there aren't that many comic stories with Peter VS Mysterio in another country. However, the powers may work better when Peter's out of his comfort zone.
    Sincerely,

The international element made me think of Chameleon as the villain, but they'll probably get a lot of mileage out of Mysterio's illusions with the different locales Spidey visits.

Excellent choice of actor, he practically looks like a younger version of Quentin Beck.

Will he go back to Germany? Mysterio should be able to make his mind go amock over reminding him of that trip.

He looks like Leonard Nimoy did back in the 60s of the last century?

Well, not completely. But now I am re-thinking the choice of Zachary Quinto in the new movies
