This is one of my favorite Marvel covers, if not my very favorite. It speaks to what I liked about Marvel in the Silver and Bronze Ages -- namely the melodrama that made it so different from DC. If this were a DC cover, it would be symbolic or part of a hoax. At Marvel, you knew this scene would really happen inside. Plus, unless it was drawn by Neal Adams, the cover wouldn't look nearly as dynamic, epic, and exciting.
