I noticed this too. I kind of wish this era would be forgotten. It might be on one of the "data" pages. Hickman uses data pages in great effect on is Monday Murders book. I think we might get some continuity stuff and other useful information on these extra pages, but it is just a guess.
"I wish I could live life five times over!
Then I’d be born in five different places,
and I’d stuff myself with different food from around the world.
I’d live five different lives with five different occupations...
and then, for those five times...
I’d fall in love with the same person..."

Persona
Some writers like to reuse the same concepts. Morrison did this a lot too (compare phrases in New X-men to AllStar Superman). So I'm not surprised that Xavier now resembles the Maker. The back of the helmets even look similar. I have been reading some of Hickman's past work to prepare for his run. He seems to be a good writer and I think we'll get something really interesting.
A good book will spark the imagination of the readers. It will pull us in and we will engage with the text. Hopefully we will have a lot of deep discussions over the work (just like we did during the Morrison era.. and to be honest with some of the eras that came afterward due to all the themes the X-men faced like extinction).

We can rule out Hickman using the Maker for now. Jeremy Whitley has control of him, in his Future Foundation book. According to solicits, the team will be busting him out of space jail in issue 2, mistaking him for 616 Reed!
