Maybe Xavier turned the World into the Mutant haven. Fantomx was guarding it so Weapon Plus couldn't use it anymore. Maybe Krakoa merged with it or something.

Just actually read the interviews from the preview and I have to say it warmed my heart when Hickman named Synch and Skin as characters that never got their due. PLEASE Hickman bring Ev and Angelo back.

It would be incredible if Hickman brought back Empyrean. I LOVE that character and he'd fit in perfectly in this environment.
