The good: That feeling that maybe after a long time something good is coming and finally see the X-mens with hope in the future.

The bad: Not that it's a bad thing, but the plot about a bad alternative future forcing someone from the future to go back to the past to change it, even though it's classic on the other hand is very common and predictable today. Let's hope the writer gets the most out of a plot so beaten.

House of X - Xavier's big plan put everyone on a island which clearly backfires and leads to Powers of X - Distopian future where mutants are hunted and killed by Sentinels, this is just more of the same.

It that's indeed what Powers of X is about, I'll be disappointed. This is literally 50% of all X-Men stories ever.

Hmmm, definite time jump (no way they could have gotten up to this level in a few levels).......and when did Banshee come back? Now I hope we get maybe a annual that bridges the gap between the end of Uncanny and now.....

What if the rumor of a year ago came true; All mutants will go life on the moon..?!
Krakoa seems to be able to create a portal and make the moon able to live on, as it is clearly Krakoa is making the environment. Maybe the moon is the House of X, the home of mutants.

Powers of X I totally do not get yet. No familiar faces, many seem hybrids of multiple characters, or perhaps their children of the future. Makes me wonder if end how HoX and PoX are connected.

Yep and also no alternate reality version characters too. Which makes me think these pages were picked as a red herring

Hickman says a lot of things.

He may end up calling it something else but so far signs point to time travel.

I don't think there will be, seems just that Marvel knew what Hickman would write, but decided to ignore it anyway. Sabretooth also died.

Unless I have interpreted very badly the preview would say that looks a lot like a story about an apocalyptic future and a character planning to go back to the past to change that.

Maybe it's not the main focus of the story but still Marvel's Powers of X Says to Fear the Future. I would call it self explanatory although it does not change the fact that I am excited about this new start.
